I'm Serge, the proud founder of Stay Rooted Kava.
Allow me to share a bit of my life's journey with you.
I'm from Maui, born and raised in the island's beautiful embrace. After completing high school, I embarked on my academic journey at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, where I successfully graduated.
Following my time on O'ahu, I spent a rewarding 11 years there before life's currents led me to the vibrant Bay Area. After six wonderful years in the Bay, my family and I decided to put down our roots in the welcoming community of Sacramento.
My personal relationship with kava spans over a decade, starting as a casual drinker. However, it wasn't until 2021 that I truly embraced kava as an integral part of my lifestyle.
Kava has played a transformative role in my life:
- It helped me transition away from heavy alcohol consumption.
- It provided much-needed relief from my struggles with insomnia.
- Most importantly, it allowed me to connect with incredible people who share a passion for this remarkable plant.
